The US president has ordered a clear revision of the policies of the US that link the word terrorism with the religion of Islam. This change will release the word, Islamic radicalism, from the national security strategy archives formulated by the former US president George bush. This step has been welcomed by the members of council on American Islamic relations.
The CAIR executive director for the US hailed this language change as a very important step that can pave way for an easy approach to the global Muslims. The president has issued an advice to the media players not to use this hard terminology. Mr. President referred such terms as loaded and inharmonic which were not the proper terminologies to settle the international issues of peace. The fact remains that since the inception of his presidency, barrack Obama wants to bridge the positive ties with the Islamic world. in the year 2009, the president said in the university of Cairo , Egypt that wants to develop cordial relationship between US and the Islamic world.
Obama administration will draft a new strategically document that will cover this issue. The prime motive of this document will be not to label everything as Muslim. It further says that majority of the people in world practice this faith and to harm their sentiments is not the right act. The president said that al Qaida is an illegitimate organization and their justifications of linking Islam and terrorism cannot be accepted.
