Americans are second in the rating for health care, a new study found no difference in quality attention for medical that they receive as compare to normal-weight patients. Quality of caring for obese person is higher than the normal weight person. In certain cases, more overweighed person get recommended care. These are the research of medical persons. They said that dissatisfied in caring for obese patients. It was not comfortable and pleasant and professionally rewarded.

To find out the causes behind the obesity into person, they did various test for that like pneumococcal vaccination, influenza vaccination and screenings for breast.

The researchers make quality measures for more than 33,550 Veterans Administration patients and 36,000 Medical patients. Across all quality in both group there was no indication for obese and overweight patients had for getting compared with normal-weight patients with recommended care. Researchers evaluated for more than 33,500 and 36,000 Medicare patients.

Obese person or overweight person had lower odds of getting recommended care, chang’s team found. In many cases, overweight and obese patients had better chances of receiving better health care services. Among Medicare group, many more overweight and patients had cholesterol and blood sugar.

In addition, both obese and overweight patients got vaccinations against pneumoccal viruses. In Medicare population, there were also slightly higher breast of cancer screening and cervical cancer screening versus that were normal weight patients. “Quality of health care services doesn’t get affected even if the physician and other health care experts give negative attitudes towards obesity.” Another expert agreed.

“I think our obese patients get better care than the people who are not known because of their risk factors.” Said Dr Robert Schwartz, professor. Schwartz noted that obese patients have more difficulty with the health-care system. “Many obese patients are serious about their conditions,” he noted. But health problems associated with obesity, such as diabetes and mean patients need more medical attention. They need to make sure they don’t have.
