As per the leading business sources, it has been clearly revealed that the Australian mining giant MacArthur coal has categorically rejected the updated bid of the arch rival miner new hope. This company has been the prime focus on many of the rival bids since a long time now.

The bidding process between the two rival companies has come as a mark of great appetite for the companies for the mineral wealth resources of Australia. The battle of this company with new hope, another mining giant has literally become a tug of war as per some key business circles. There was another company name Peabody energy that had made a parallel bid to overtake the mining giant. Both these rival bidders wanted to convince the mining major to cancel certain highly complex transactions with the noble group.

The company MacArthur is the prime target of takeover because it is the last of the remaining miners of the mid sized stature and this miner holds a specialty in the production of the pulverized coal. There have been many global rival bids in the areas of mining and other allied sectors. These bids have reflected the global business appetite for the sectors like minerals, oil, gas and steel because of the recovery in the economy.

China has a prime focus on the global takeovers to feed the big bubbling economy of the nation.
